October is the season for harvesting rice. Steamed rice alone tasts delicious. However, a popular and even more delicious autumn rice dish includes add seasonal ingredients such as chestnuts to the rice. This is KURI-GOAN. (Rice cooked with chestnuts.)

I cooked KURI-GOHAN last Sunday. It was very derisious.

Rice: 2 cups

Soy sauce: 5cc

Solt: a little

Could you try to cook!

Dear Yume, the kuri-gohan looks delicious!! Just looking at the picture makes me hungry! I am definetely going to try it... but the problem is that I feel that some ingredients are missing. On the picture, it looks like there is some meat and also green vegetable. Could you please tell me what it is? Thank you!!

Dear linou,
Thank you for your comment.
I can tell you those ingredients.
Green vegetable is "mitsuba".
Another ingredient is "Japanese-mashroom". Normally those ingredients are not needed for the kuri-gohan. In this picture, it is a special version. Also depending on individual taste, the soy sauce is not needed.
Did you enjoyed weekend?
